If you are going to purchase a lower end Chinese instrument, please do not get it from the same place you buy groceries, CD's, or clothes from. Get it from a dealer that will back what they sell.

You may also ask around, as many people have instruments left over from kids that have stopped taking band. Usually these instruments can be purchased for far less, but need to be checked and aligned. The repair usually averages $50-$150 dollars, and takes 3-7 days on most instruments , so don't wait till the last minute to bring it in.
